The Molecular Endocrinology Core provides state of the art molecular biology techniques including: Real-time QRT-PCR, plasmid construction, PCR, transgenic mouse screening, RNase protection assay, Northern and Southern hybridization. In addition, the Molecular Endocrinology Core performs RNA, DNA and protein extractions of cell culture and tissue samples. This Core operates on a full charge back system.
